Michael Nemanic Law is a boutique law firm that provides planning, development, and municipal advice, development management, and legal representation across the Province of Ontario.

We have experience representing a range of private sector clients in appeals ranging from infill low-rise redevelopment to master planned mixed use communities as development managers and legal counsel.

Michael Nemanic

Michael has seven years of experience providing advice, development management, and legal representation in the areas of planning, development, and municipal law. He has a particular specialization in growth-related fee appeals, including cash-in-lieu of parkland, development charges,  community benefits charges, and other municipal fees and charges.

Michael has helped clients secure shovel ready approvals for a variety of development applications, including condominiums, townhouses, low-rise subdivisions, and industrial and office.

Michael frequently appears before the Ontario Land Tribunal and Ontario Courts, including the Superior Court of Justice and Divisional Court. 

Michael received his BA from the University of Toronto (2014) with high distinction and his JD from the University of Ottawa (2018) with distinction.

Michael's interests include architectural design, travelling, and learning a new language (Spanish).
